Sims 3 Cheat Codes

So if you're like me you'll eventually get bored playing the game normally so I'v gathered a list of my favorite cheat codes to spice up my game play.

First things first we need to enable cheats by pressing 'Ctrl + Alt + C' at the same time.

This brings up the cheat bar whenever you want to enter a cheat code.

The first code you'll need to type is 'testingcheatsenabled true' then press enter.

*PLEASE NOTE* Cheats will not work if you do not follow those first steps.

1. Kaching/Rosebud - Both cheats do the same thing. They will add $1000 to your household after pressing enter.

2. Motherlode - This cheat will add $50,000 to your households funds.

3. freerealestate - This cheat allows you to purchase any lot you desire. You must enter the cheat code when in edit town before selecting your new house.

4. Familyfunds {Household name} {Amount} - This cheat will reset your household funds to whatever amount you include in the cheat.

There are also some cool cheats you can access by right clicking on the mail box.

1. Make all happy - This will fill up your sims need bars.

2. Make friends for me - This cheat will give your active sim 7 new friends in the neighborhood.

3. Make needs static/ Make needs dynamic - Clicking make needs static will fill up all your sims need bars and 'freeze' them so that needs don't decay. Making needs dynamic will allow the need bars to return to normal.

4. Make me know everyone - This cheat does exactly what it says and after pushing enter your active sim will know everyone in their neighborhood. As you can imagine, this can cause more lag in the game so be prepared.

5. Force NPC Options - Clicking this option will take you to a secondary menu where you can select any of the NPC's. This will then cause the NPC to show up on your lot. Babysitters will start looking after your children and repairmen will start fixing your electronics but be careful, calling the police or firefighters can result in a fine!

6. Set Career Options - Clicking this option will also take you to a secondary menu where you can select a career from all that are available in your game. You can also select your career level but keep in mind your sim will still need the relevant skill levels in order to progress.
